Junk Science? Number 120: Covid-19 vaccines getting a rough ride

The biggest issue with the Covid-19 pandemic is politics. Politicians don’t understand science and change their minds at the drop of a needle, causing confusion, mistrust and conspiracy theories.

The UK Government has reported that more than one in five front line hospital workers in London, and some 80,000 health workers overall are yet to take a Covid-19 shot (1). The Government are thinking of making a ‘vaccination’ mandatory. But, since the NHS cannot cope now, how would it cope with 20% less staff? Baffling really.

According to NBC (2), in America it’s much the same story, “About 50 per cent of front line workers in California’s Riverside County have refused to take the vaccine” and it seems “an estimated 60 per cent of Ohio nursing home employees have refused the vaccine already”. In contrast to the UK Government, Ohio’s Gov. Mike DeWine said, “We’re not going to make them”. NBC also report on a poll released by the Uniformed Fire Fighters Association claiming that “more than half of New York’s Firefighters would refuse the vaccine”.

According to the BBC, the UK Government and NHS are saying that this whole mess is caused by ‘fearmongering and mis-information on social media by anti-vaxers’. Clearly, they think their own mixed messages have no effect.

So I will stay with reported facts.

The Indian Government aren’t anti-vaxers. Their SEC has just turned down approval for the Pfizer vaccine. Among the reasons were that Pfizer were not proposing a clinical trial in India first so the local Government could clearly understand the pros and cons better, and they were concerned by a good number of reported cases of side-effects such as palsy(3).

And so we turn to ‘side-effects’. The fact is that these are not originating simply on dodgy social media platforms. They are being reported by prestigious news services. For example:

CNN – “Severe allergic reactions to Moderna’s Covid-19 vaccine are rare, CDC says” (8).

BBC – “People with a history of significant allergic reactions should not have the Pfizer/BioNTech Covid jab, regulators say”(4).

NBC – “Alaska Healthcare worker had extreme allergic reaction to Pfizer Covid-19 vaccination” (5)

Daily Mail: “Four people out of 22,000 in a study got Bell’s palsy and all had received the jab” (6)

In each case, the medium went on to debunk this story, but they made an attention-grabbing and deeply concerning headline out of it. It puts doubts in people’s minds. It’s rather like an airline pilot coming on the tannoy when you are at 30,000 feet (remember those days?) and saying “This is your Captain speaking. There is no cause for alarm.”

The truth is that the controversy is often not started by nasty anti-vaxers but the main media trying to get more viewers and readers, using the same journalists who are trusted and respected.

The ‘Are they really vaccines’ debate?

The next issue that keeps cropping up is ‘Are they really vaccines?’ The CDC definition of a vaccine is this: “A product that stimulates a person’s immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease, protecting a person from that disease”.

So people like Dr Mercola who claim Pfizer and Moderna shots are not vaccines are, in fact, wrong, even though they are also correct in saying they are ‘gene therapies’.

The vaccine definition from the CDC bizarrely doesn’t say you won’t get the disease. It also doesn’t say you won’t pass it on. It just implies you will not have it seriously or die from it. Yes, it’s in inadequate definition – and that doesn’t make matters any better – but the current crop of vaccines do fit this inadequate definition. Maybe the FDA defines it better?

“Vaccines work by mimicking the infectious bacteria or viruses that cause disease. Vaccination stimulates the body’s immune system to build up defenses against the infectious bacteria or virus (organism) without causing the disease. The parts of the infectious organism that the immune system recognizes are foreign to the body and are called antigens. Vaccination exposes the body to these antigens”.

So again, these are all vaccines. The FDA definition is actually worse than the CDC’s – it tells me the vaccine could mimic the virus in my body. It also says it won’t cause the disease but it doesn’t say it won’t cause other diseases! Either could be why the UK and US Health workers don’t want it.

What is clear is that, of the first three ‘vaccines’ on the market in the West, the Oxford Vaccine is a genuine traditional vaccine. The new J&J vaccine works similarly. Both use an adenovirus as the vector (carrying agent). Adenoviruses are cold viruses, but they are slightly modified so you won’t get a cold, and they’ve been used for years to deliver DNA into a host. In Covid-19, they deliver a gene from Covid-19. In the Oxford vaccine it’s a gene for a bit of the spiky coat. This makes a protein in your body, which causes an immune response. All standard stuff really.

Messages from your DNA are ordinarily sent out round your body in the form of messenger-RNA. When this gets into your cells, it kick-starts a protein production line. Covid is actually an RNA virus that hijacks your protein production line.

The Moderna and Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines use mRNA wrapped in lipid nanoparticles to introduce mRNA coding for a the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein into a person’s own cells to make that protein and thereby stimulate the immune system to react against it (6).

This mRNA ‘system’ has not been used in vaccines before and so, it is not as ‘tried and trusted’ and it is true that there is no long term data on safety of ‘RNA vaccines’. No one can criticise Health workers, who have brains and a knowledge of health and science, being concerned.

The CDC says, in its Myths and Facts about Covid-19 Vaccines that the RNA shot does not enter the nucleus of the cell, where our DNA sits, and instead it works with our natural defences to develop immunity, but people do have concerns.

Dr Lee Merritt is the past president of the American Assn of Physicians and Surgeons, and former board member of the AZ. Medical Assn. Merritt did her internship at National Naval Medical Centre and studied bioweapons. In a recent interview at New American (https://www.bitchute.com/video/d64sdCyMdi3h/) Merritt states: “We have never successfully made it through an animal study with this type of virus, we have never done this to humans before” and “we don’t really have a track record of success” when it comes to vaccines like this.

Covid fatality rate per Dr. Merritt? You have a 99.991% chance of NOT dying. She also states that the vaccine, by the mfrs own admission, does not stop transmission and doesn’t think it will actually work. What?

Confusion rules – especially in Government

Science is informed debate. If scientists cannot debate, the result is propaganda, as we are seeing at the moment. People don’t like propaganda; it makes them suspicious.

We know Doctors are increasingly treating Covid cases successfully having worked the strategy out by themselves; but we know Politicians always have a hidden agenda. And they change their minds – repeatedly.

Take the CDC; this is the same CDC that told us we didn’t need masks, then later that we required them, then we only needed to “bend the curve,” then we need to wear multiple masks, then we need to wear masks long-term even after the vaccine.

The UK Government blames the anti-vaxers that are causing confusion in nurses and health workers? Really, you don’t think it’s your own inconsistency of message that leads to the mistrust. An overweight Johnson with a cold sore stands on the steps of Downing Street telling you how to handle Covid. Three days later he is in Hospital on a ventilator. Or maybe the way ‘Lockdown’ has been so badly handled with his right hand man off for a weekend to see family 300 miles away, when everybody is told to stay home; Or curfews? You can’t catch Covid before 9 pm, but after you can?

On the vaccine – the Clinical Trials so strictly adhered to by oncologists told us all we need a booster shot within 21 days. A total mess in the UK and USA in vaccine distribution and suddenly the Clinical Trial data is irrelevant. 3 months before the booster shot? Or worse to quote the UK Health minister, if you’ve had the Pfizer first shot, you can always take the Oxford shot as your booster. Absolute non-science. RUBBISH.

All to stop a virus that has been shown repeatedly to result in less deaths than seasonal flu. In India, a ‘poor’ country, 1.388 billion population; 11 million cases (1.26% of population), 158,000 deaths – just 1.36% of cases, in a country where Covid is supposed to be ‘out of control’. Really?

In the USA, according to Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, MD, PhD, Stanford Medical School, regular, seasonal influenza is two to three times more lethal than Covid for those aged 0 – 20. Do we lock down those young people every year for seasonal flu? Do we shut down their schools? Do we destroy lives and educational opportunities each year for the flu?

The confusion doesn’t end there – even Fauci, who famously told us all a year ago that Covid was nothing to worry about, warned of the ‘unintended consequences of masks’, that herd immunity comes at 70%, then 80%, and takes 6,000 IUs Vitamin D per day by his own admission on Instagram, yet avoids suggesting others to do the same.

Biden told Americans that ‘any American who wanted a Covid shot would be able to get one by Spring’. Then it got moved to mid-summer. At last week’s immunisation rates in the USA, it will be 12 years to give a shot to everyone.

The administration’s great hope is for the millions of doses of J&J’s new vaccine arriving soon to provide the answer, yet the vaccine has been shown to be significantly less effective than Moderna’s or Pfizer’s. So what does the Biden administration do? They ‘TALK IT UP’, even asking other Governments to do the same (9). Talking it up? In this case it’s actually called ‘lying’.

The Social Media are no better – they took down a post on research from South East Asia on the link between vitamin D and beating Covid, dubbing it ‘misinformation’.

It just adds to the mistrust.

But there’s another story line for all to see, that is off-limits to a Government comment. Lockdown – mental issues – depression – suicide.

Dr. Bill Bennet, former US Secretary of Education, stated on TV that for every 1 per cent rise in unemployment, there are 10,000 suicides. Most recently in Illinois, there have been six times more deaths from teen suicides that from Covid, with isolation thought to be a major contributing factor (10).

In the UK, half the ambulance call outs at one point in London were not for Covid but for attempted suicide. Numbers were up 50% in the first Lockdown (11) but have nearly doubled year on year in the second. 26 per cent of households are single person households. Social services are reporting huge concerns – for 1 in 4 of the UK population!! Suicide deaths can take more than a year to accurately record so no hard data will probably exist until it’s all too late.

What a mess? It’s obviously the anti-vaxers fault and all those dodgy social media posts.

In Thailand where the number of cases on a 66 million population is about 7,000 and less than 70 people have died, do you think the credit should go to the sunshine, warmth and temperature each known to kill Covid? The country of Brazil, has those attributes too but is a country with Covid out of control. Famously run by generals, we asked a politician in Thailand why he thought the country was doing so well.

“We politicians know nothing about biology or infections. We leave that to the doctors”.

Well done!

Do the UK and USA politicians, and the Social Media Companies realise that people in the West despair of you? With each ‘talk up’, with each change of mind, with each ban of a fact you don’t like, with each suicide, with each propaganda post, you’re losing more and more credibility. Facebook, Twitter, Joe Biden, Anthony Fauci, leaders of the world? Give me a break.

Let’s blame misinformation. Let’s blame the anti-vaxers. But not the real people causing the mistrust.

But it’s there for all to see.

It’s called … Junk Science. And it’s hurting people.
